Is there a way to securely and automatically log into web sites by using an independent login tool that seamlessly integrates with Firefox 4 BUT does not require to use the "Save password" feature in the fox?

I am pleased to announce that Keepass has worked perfectly. With the Firefox keepass plugin and program installed, you get a small key in the Firefox tool bar, which you hit and will automatically fill in the password etc for you. (After you have set a master password in KeeppassWith my setup - I have session manager installed, so I have permanent app tabs without keeping my history and Firefox "Save Password" feature disabled AND keepass worked seamlessly.http://keepass.info/ - for anyone who want to try it.I'll give your suggestion a try on the next OS install :)

Ahhh great, thank you, I'll try it over the next couple of days and report back. After posting this question, I downloaded Keepass and the Firefox add-on but it still uses the Firefox save pass word feature, which is what I want to get away from. Thank you for the suggestion. p.s I <3 this site.
