I need to copy (not move) a WP website to a new location. I have found some instructions on http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress, but I was wondering if there is no easier (automated) way to do it. For example an import-export plugin?

Hello, here is a faster and easier way to backup and restore your entire wordpress web site: simply install this plugin and follow the instructions here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backupwordpress/faq/ I tried it and it worked fine.Thank you.

Wordpress comes with a built in import/export feature from the tools menu. However, I strongly advise against copying (not moving). Google will be able to easily identify copied content and will derank the site. Can I ask WHY you want to copy it instead of moving? I can't think of any situation in which that would apply.

use SurfOffline -but it will download the entire site-or use a backup software from the backendor backup(export) ur MySQL tables and reimport it to the 'new' site
