Not Just Recipes: 4 iPad Apps That Teach You To Cook [iOS]

Owning an iPad has changed the way I cook and bake in my kitchen. I can now load everything on my iPad, place it in the closest spot where it still wouldn't get dirty, and cook to my heart's content. While some cooking apps are nothing but recipe managers or collections of general recipes that are never quite clear enough, good results will come from cooking apps that actually teach you how to cook.

Missing Google Instant Preview: 3 Chrome Extensions That Show Previews Of Google Search Results

Instant Previews was a search enhancement launched three years back that gave you a sneak peek into Google search results with tiny thumbnails. The visual page snapshot helped us to get a glimpse of what the page was about before we decided to click on the address and go to the page. Let's deal with fact that Google Instant Preview has been dropped from Google’s scheme of things.

The Most Rare & Valuable Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Games [MUO Gaming]

I've come to realize that I tend to write about Nintendo too much. While I absolutely love all of the old-school Mario, Zelda, Metroid and other classic games available from Nintendo, we must remember, "Genesis does what Nintendon't." So with that in mind, I realized that I would do well to drop some serious knowledge about the good old Sega Genesis (also called the Mega Drive in some regions, but I will refer to it as the Genesis for the rest of this article).

Speed Up Your Imgur Uploads With These Apps & Browser Add-Ons

Imgur is an awesome website for hosting your photos – we all know that. Doom Vs. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare - Just How Far Has The FPS Come?

First person shooters have been at the forefront of game development since their first incarnation over two decades ago. They combine adrenaline-soaked action with a perspective that provides a great stage for technology; first-person games feature excellent graphics, carefully crafted story events and amazing sound. Yet the core remains the same. You shoot a thing, until its dead – then repeat.

Sifteo Cubes Intelligent Play System Review & Giveaway

As you may have already figured from my Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker review in the midst of Gaming Month, I'm not really much of a gamer. Not since 1995, anyway. But the show must go on, and even a gaming-ignorant like me likes playing some games. I was all set on writing an in-depth review on Temple Run 2, when I found something even cooler. The Sifteo Cubes. One lucky reader will win this $130 set of Sifteo Cubes, and will never be bored again! Read on to find out how you can win and to enter the giveaway.

5 Great SNES RPGs Online & How To Play

Gaming sure isn't what it used to be. I haven't touched a console since the PlayStation 2 days, and I don't think you'll ever be able to convince me to purchase a new one ever again. Console gaming in the year 2013 strikes me as consisting of nothing more than overhyped first-person shooters and overly-cinematic "movie" games. That's not my style. I've always been into quality gameplay. It may just be the nostalgia inside of me taking over, but gaming was best in the '90s.

Can You Make an iPhone or Other Smartphone Stand From Paper?

I'm not frugal or thrifty, I'm cheap. My food comes only in yellow and black packaging. My Dad would say that I was "so cheap, he'd skin a fart for the grease." I will stop in the middle of crossing the road to pick up a penny, and we don't even use them in Canada anymore. So when I wanted a holder for my Samsung Whizzbang Z 28 and our office budget didn't really cover that, I got to thinking about using paper instead.

Hulu Plus vs. iTunes vs. Netflix vs. Amazon Instant Video: Which Is Best?

Hulu. iTunes. Netflix. Amazon Instant Video. The lifeblood of online cinema and television. The new wave of home media. The providers of endless entertainment in which pants are not necessarily required. They are the contenders of all that is streaming video. But alas, which service is the best? Which service can raise its virtual fist high in the air and proudly exclaim, "I am the one!" to be heard across all the land?
