Create and Store Network Settings Profiles With Simple IP Config

Do you frequently switch networks? Changing your IP settings still requires far more clicks than it should. You can make use of a utility called Simple IP Config that lets you quickly tweak any of the IP settings mentioned above, and it can even manage IP setting "profiles", which you can load up and enable on your laptop any time that you want.

iMPC: Akai's Legendary Music Production Centre Comes To iPhone & iPad

Few devices have had an impact on music quite like the Akai MPC. The sampler, sequencer and all-round music making machine was first released in 1988 and soon took the hip hop world by storm. Akai has recognised that not everyone has a couple of thousand dollars to spend on dedicated music-making hardware. Control Your MacBook Keyboard Lights With Lab Tick

Taking control of the backlight on your Macbook Pro or Air keyboard isn't hard: newer models specifically devote keys to the purpose. That wasn't always true, however. Before the addition of keys for the job, there was basically no way to control the lights behind the keys manually. Newer Macs may allow you to manually turn the light level up and down, but the sensor still takes control when it feels like it. Lab Tick lets you turn this off, and does a bit more.

Change Your Mind: 8 Really Inspirational Websites For Your Days & Life

Inspiration is not so simple. It is a higher calling. If motivation is the push, inspiration is the pull. On a gloomy day, we need big doses of both. Even little slivers of either go a long way. U.DTR: Ultra Desktop Replacement Concept Design

Desktops are being replaced by laptops in the workplace and at home. Users don't really mind sacrificing screen estate for portability and convenience of being able to bring their work home with them. However, working with a 15-inch screen can be less than ideal. U.DTR is a concept design aimed at bridging the gap between desktop and laptop by providing desktop-esque ergonomics and flexibility while maintaining the portability of a laptop. The Ultra Desktop Replacement is the brainchild of industrial designer Marin Myftiu, and it is absolutely gorgeous.
