You can now use your Google Nest and Google Assistant-enabled smart speakers to play Apple Music.

Google Nest Now Supports Apple Music

As announced on the Google blog, Apple Music is rolling out to Google Assistant-enabled devices like Nest Audio, Nest Hub Max, Nest Mini, and more.

The link with Apple Music is available in the US, UK, France, Germany, and Japan.

To begin, open the Google Home app and link your Apple Music account. Then you can ask the Google Assistant to play any of the songs, albums, and playlists on Apple Music.

If you want, you can select Apple Music as your default music streaming service. This will mean that commands such as "Hey Google, play my songs" will automatically register to Apple Music.

You can also ask for specific Apple Music features, like playlists. Simply say something like "Hey Google, play Rap Life" or "Hey Google, play New Music Daily".

Remember, if you have multiple smart speakers or displays, you can use the multi-room control feature to move your music between devices. You can also play music across all the devices by asking, "Hey Google, play music on all my speakers."

Transfer From Spotify to Apple Music

Google Nest also supports other music streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music.
