When is Windows 9 going to be released?

When would Windows 9 for PC be available for sale to users?

    There's no concrete information of when next version of Windows will be released.There are many speculations about it to be released in next year or so.

      Please tell , is it better to buy Win 8.1 or Win 9? and what are differences for basic users

      It's expected that it would be free for Windows 8 users,but doubtful.The features might be start menu as shown in BUILD 2014 conference and other stuffs that user demanded.

      I think the mess Microsoft is making,better to use the current supported system and wait for sometime.

      Like how , Android is rolling out new Android versions quicker ( Kitkat to Android L ) , Is Windows rolling out new desktop versions frequently ( Win 8 to Win 9 ) at cheap rates?

      Microsoft is now going to release its OS in very short span of time like say after 1-2 year of interval span.Regarding rates,it might lower the upgrade fees but I highly doubt about reducing full retail price.

      well nothing sure but it can be free for windows 7 and windows 8 users, for others Windows 9 can follow similar pricing trends as windows 8
