Why does my LG Super-Multi Slim Blu-ray Combo Drive CT21N not recognize any Blu-Ray discs?

Sheila Flanagan May 8, 2013

Last year I upgraded my Acer Aspire 8930G when the DVD drive went out and installed the LG Super-Multi Slim Blu-ray Combo Drive CT21N from Amazon. I don’t watch Blu-Rays much, but I upgraded my account on Netflix so when we watch on TV, they play in our Blu-Ray player.

I have been trying to watch on my laptop Blu-Ray drive and computer does not even recognize a disc is installed when I put a Blu-Ray disc in. Clicking on it gives the message “Please insert a disc into drive F.” Is this a known issue?

Hi. You can try the Microsoft Fixit - http://support.microsoft.com/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems/

Tried it and with a BR disc in the drive. MS could find no problems reading media in the drive
