Hello, if you installed click to call you will have to uninstall it first. Open Chrome and there should be an icon for skype showing. Click on it and it should give you the option of uninstall. Once that is done, try the uninstall again.
Also as mentioned by somebody else, make sure that there is no chrome process running in the background. If there is, kill it.
You could also try removing skype with software like revo uninstaller.
I have had this problem before and realized there are many instances of processes operating in the background that needs to be closed. Try this:
Right click the task bar and click on "start task manager", once it opens click on the processes tab and look for anything that says "chrome.exe" right click it and choose "end process" until all are closed out then try to uninstall.
See if chrome is running in background by looking in the task manager.
Simplr end the google chrome process from task manager and then try uninstalling skype. If that doesn't work use force uninstall method provided by iobit uninstaller or revo uninstaller...I would recommend iobit uninstaller for the only reason that its completely free.
If the computer says that Chrome is still running even though no windows are visible, press the infamous Ctrl+Alt+Del and then open up the task manager. If you do see chrome there, then end the task. If not, then go to the Processes tab and look for Chrome and select it to end the process. If chrome is not there, I would recommend either restarting the computer and then trying to uninstall Skype. You could also try using CCleaner (http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner).
Chrome add-ons run in the background. Go to Task Manager and end all chrome processes. Then try uninstall of skype
1. Press Ctrl, Shift and Esc at the same time.
2. Go to the Processes tab
3. Find and click chrome.exe and click End Process, then click End Process in the box that appears.
4. Repeat step 3 for every "chrome.exe" you find in that list.
Run Unlocker and then you can uninstall Skype without any hassle. It'll remove any handles attached with Skype -

You could try process explorer and check whether it uses chrome or not.Go to options->Difference highlight duration and set it ti 2 seconds or 5 seconds. Startup Skype and exit it.Check the process explorer window for the resources it has been using.
Do what Bruce said, but also, look if your chrome version is using skype as an ad-on and if so, delete it.
Check the process list in Task Manager and kill any Chrome.exe processes that may be running without a window on the desktop. This should allow the uninstall to proceed.
perhaps it is important first to uninstall Chrome in order to be able to uninstall the Click-to-Call add-on.
or
