Why can’t I connect my iPhone 5c to wifi?

Oscar J December 16, 2013

I have the CISCO 2921-V/K9 router.  I tried everything – resetting network, resetting router. Help! I just got the iPhone 5c and it won’t connect to wireless. What can i do?

Can you verify your wifi settings by connecting from another device?

Does your Cisco Router actually have a WiFi module installed? Which one and what are the security and encryption settings for the WiFi?

    1) Turn off CISCO 2921-V/K9 router.
    2) While router turned off, reset the network setting on iPhone 5 (Settings>General>Reset Network Settings).
    3) Turn on CISCO 2921-V/K9 router.
    4) Try to connect iphone to wifi .

hello I also have the iPhone 5.c and the only problem I had was having it automatically hook up find out the IP address of your router. then you can manually insert it for connecting up. I haven't had too much prob you might have a phone checked also. one thing you can try is have the free WiFi search engine app for the iPhone that will allow you to find all of the wifi signal in your area if that doesn't work then you should have the phone check because automatically it should connect if your router's putting out at all.
