Why can I no longer read or open messages since I was moved to Outlook?

Ever since I’ve had Outlook it will not let me read nor open my messages, why is this?

The way you tagged and marked your post I think more likely you are referring to the transition from Hotmail or Live to Outlook.com? Is that correct? If so look at the following:

Next, if it is an issue with your version of browser and or Windows you could use the following Chrome extension to change the user agent that your browser tells web sites you are using which may solve the issue for you. I have had some luck with this in certain situations.

When you say Outlook, which one do you mean : Outlook email client or Outlook.com web based free email service from Microsoft?

What were you using prior to Outlook? Were your old messages moved into Outlook? Is Outlook connecting properly to your email provider? Are you getting any error messages? If so, what are they? Does your question pertain to Outlook the email client (the assumption that generated the previous list of questions) or Outlook.com, Microsoft's rebranded webmail site which is an entirely different beast?
