The way you tagged and marked your post I think more likely you are referring to the transition from Hotmail or Live to Outlook.com? Is that correct? If so look at the following:

When you say Outlook, which one do you mean : Outlook email client or Outlook.com web based free email service from Microsoft?
What were you using prior to Outlook? Were your old messages moved into Outlook? Is Outlook connecting properly to your email provider? Are you getting any error messages? If so, what are they? Does your question pertain to Outlook the email client (the assumption that generated the previous list of questions) or Outlook.com, Microsoft's rebranded webmail site which is an entirely different beast?
