Which Android apps other than email and social networking would you recommend?

What Android applications, other than email and social networking, would you recommend as especially useful?

Can you weblink, or mention exact names, from the Play Store? Particularly apps which you may have had hands-on experience and found them genuinely useful. This is in regard to common, everyday use —  and not necessarily geeky.

Some of the apps which you may find useful are -

    TubeMate -

You'll never ever find this app on play store as its job is to download videos from YouTube in various resolutions(1080p,720p etc.) and MP3 format too, which is against Google's ToS.

Feedly , Pulse [Broken Link Removed] , NDTV news apps to get news.

GoLauncher Ex - A good launcher app and allows auto grouping of apps which allows easy navigation and finding apps quickly. It also comes up with GoSwitch widget which is useful for quick toggle of many settings.

KeePassDroid to keep user login information: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.keepass&hl=en.

Kingsoft Office for viewing and editing documents: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wps.moffice_i18n&hl=en.

QuickPic for quicker and easier photo browsing and viewing instead of using Gallery

Wifi File Explorer Pro (there is a free version as well) to transfer files to and from computers and Android devices over wifi: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dooblou.WiFiFileExplorerPRO&hl=en. Others may recommend other FTP apps, but this is what I'm used to.

ZDBox is a toolbox full of useful items to keep your device clean of junk files, task killer, data usage counter with limit reminder, battery saver, do not disturb function, etc. It is meant for rooted devices, but many functions do not need root access to function. [Broken Link Removed]

There are other apps, but more region specific, so I won't mention those apps here. I also use Advanced Task Killer Pro (there is a free version) for ending tasks, and Advanced Mobile Care by IOBit to help clean my devices. [Broken Link Removed], respectively.

That is a hard question to answer given that we dont know your likes or dislikes. Our preferences will not be your preferences so you need to narrow things down a bit for us.

In terms of the collective hive mind of the MUO authors we keep Best Of Android Apps and Best Of Android Games lists updated.
