Where can I find a Windows 7 OEM download?

Sorry guys, me again!

I’ve got a Windows 7 Home Premium licence key, but I got it using ProduKey on my sister’s old laptop. She says she can’t remember if the laptop came pre-installed with Windows 7 but the product ID from ProduKey is
“XXXXX-OEM-XXXXXXX-XXXXX” so I assume it is an OEM copy of Windows 7 and I have read that you can’t use a Windows 7 OEM key with retail discs (which I don’t have anyway).

I’ve searched loads online and can’t find a download of Windows 7 Home Premium OEM. I’m just looking for a legal download as I have the license key. I could hardly find anything whatsoever on Microsoft’s website about Windows 7, it only talks about Windows 8 which is quite frustrating.

Thanks again in advance for your help!

Are you planning on using this OEM key on that laptop, or on another computer entirely? Because legally you can only use it on that laptop...

Yeah I realized earlier I had completely overlooked the fact I can't actually use that key, oh well, she will just have to stick with windows 8!

Sometimes Microsoft will let you move it, though. In my experience it's at least worth calling, though admittedly it's been a few years...

In windows 7 Activation happens online. There is no CD key. so, You can download even from Microsoft.com and Use a OEM Key. or Use a WindowsLoader application to Use a Pirated Key.

All links on your referenced page are referring to RETAIL versions, not OEM, so they will not work with OP's key.

Actually, since it is an OEM key, it may not work at all for OP's purposes. It is probably locked to the original hardware where it was installed.

it should work in windows 7 and if it dont work (like in xp days) use the activate by phone method

      mine worked without problems

Contrary to Bruce's statement, most OEMs use the same image. I've certainly used my OEM DVD with different computers and their product numbers were accepted.
