What’s the easiest way to mirror my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to my Windows 7 PC WITHOUT rooting?

Bellis July 16, 2013

I’ve got a Samsung Galaxy 2 7.0 and want to display it on my PC, so that I can take screenshots for handouts for Android training. I don’t want to root my device. Do I need a particular cable and/or app?

I think you would like to use AirServer software.Make sure that DoubleTwist player app(pro version) is installed and AirTwist app.

It's available as 7 day free trial and costs $14.99 /- without nay expiration of license.

The easiest way I see doing what you wish is through this device: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812866009, which is an android to pc mirroring device.

This would be great except my device is a Tab 2 7.0 - not a phone but the 7" tablet. The phone has a mini USB; the 7" tablet has a 30-pin connection :-(

Wouldn't a cheap 30 pin to micro usb adapter like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Adapter-Adaptor-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00B1N3GME allow the device to work?
