Sunny June 5, 2013

I need a really good screen record software for Mac.
Must have unlimited record time.
Must have full-screen recording.
Thank you very much!

I use screen flow for recording and I use camtasia for editing. Ether of them is good but I like to use screen flow

I've been using Snapz Pro X by @AmbrosiaSW for years and it is awesome!

Try ScreenFlow. My wife swears by it. I know lots of folks use Camtasia and I do think she tried it first but ended up with ScreenFlow instead. Let me us know what you think if you give it a shot.

Same here. I've tried Camtasia and Snapz Pro before and I think they both are too bulky and complicated (at least for my needs). Screenflow is small, fast and does everything I need, that is recording tutorials with notes.

Camtasia studio 8 is very good but a bit expensive
If you want something less expensive and still be able to record what going on at the screen together with sound and your voice you have Viola at $29.99 from Global delight http://www.globaldelight.com/voila/mac-screen-capture-overview.html iShowU HD is today at sale om Macupdate for $17,95 https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/48223/ishowu-hd Snapz Pro X from Ambrosia is also very good (there have been rumors that they will close down - do not know if it is true)

Adam's answer is correct, however, it'll only work for Mountain Lion and maybe Lion.

I believe Quicktime will record the screen as long as you have hard disk space available.

      I should rephrase my answer.

Quicktime (which is free for every mac) has the following features that you were interested in (among others):

      - unlimited record time
      - full-screen recording.

Yes but it will NOT record audio AND your're mic at the same time, like if you wanted to skype while recording
