I’ve always trusted all the products MakeUseOf has reviewed. I wanted to buy a new camera and I’m looking at a Nikon P520. I was wondering what you thought of this camera?
I like to take a lot of pictures, I have grandkids that are in a lot of sports. I take pictures from a long distance away. I like to take pictures while in a moving car. I tend to be in a lot of low-light situations. I need this to be a point and shoot type of camera and I don’t have a lot of money, am I asking to much of a camera?
Is this the camera for me? What else would you recommend?
Thank you for such a thorough review of this camera. It really helped me to decide which camera to buy.

The Nikon P520 is a great camera overall, but the Canon Powershot SX50 has 50x zoom, higher ISO for more lighting conditions, longer exposure time for night shots, faster picture shooting ability, and a smaller price. Be aware that any zoom at 20x or more needs a very steady hand or decent tripod. Faster shooting ability means that you can have a better chance not missing great picture. Otherwise, it's a personal preference.
