I tried connecting to my office system’s internet. It shows that it’s “connecting” but then never connects?
What can be the possible reasons? I’m using Windows 8 and the Chrome browser.
As Jan says, talk to your IT Manager but in the meantime check your firewall settings. This could be one possible cause but to be honest it could be one of many.
I suggest consulting the network administrator of your work place.
There are many options including an internal proxy being set within the internet options, MAC filtering (for wired or wireless), RADIUS authentication or even, usage of static IPs with no DHCP server present, even a dead or not patched network plug.
