I would like to learn to code in .NET – can you recommend any resources, sites or download links for .NET tutorials?
Learn from Lynda tutorials.Best stuff you will ever get.
You should see following sites:
These site provide you nice understanding tutorials
I just wing my VB.Net programming. I go step by step and look up how to do each little step on Google. The simplest tutorials are here but they won't get you very far: http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/net/vbNet.html.
After that just look up everything more complicated. Try to believe that everything that you are trying to do programmatically has actually been asked on the net before and then try to ask the question of Google. If you reach a dead end, sit back for a minute and think about if you can simplify what you are trying to do or make several steps out of it and then try Google search again...
Check out Microsoft Virtual Academy. It's free and you are getting the info directly from the source.
