How can I get VLC Media Player 2.0 portable to display MiniLyrics?

Jack Kitchen February 19, 2012

I have just installed the portable version of VLC version 2 Media Player on my Windows 7 64-bit machine. I also have MiniLyrics installed, but VLC will not display lyrics when I play melodies, so how can I get VLC to display lyrics?

Thanks, I have checked out but it has somehow changed in VLC 2.0 as far as I know. I hope it hasn't been definitely disabled and it's just a matter of Minilyrics updated the plugin. Am I missing something here?

Definitely doesn't work in the new VLC 2.0 - issue raised with MiniLyrics developers and hopefully they'll fix it in near future

Hello, I have installed VLC 2.0 (not the portable, but the normal version), I have installed again Minilyrics, but I can't find the Minilyrics option on VLC where it used to be. Could anybody help me? Thanks in advance!!

    maybe like this

    1) Click VLC menu item: "Tools" > "Preferences".
    2) In the popup window, show all settings, and open control interface, then check "MiniLyrics-Auto
    3) Restart your VLC player, and MiniLyrics will auto start with VLC now.
