Why can’t I verify my Hotmail account and how can I get around it?

I use Hotmail and my email sending is limited every day. I am asked to provide details of mobile phone number so a text can be sent to verify my account. Every time I do this I get “Sorry, we can’t do this at the moment. Please try again later”.

Yesterday I tried for 5 hrs and today 2.5 so far. How do I get out of this?

    i cant enter mine too! i have to use my moms account now. i NEED help as well. i use this email everyday and ive been getting replies from microsoft saying that theyve blocked me cause they cant verify its me!!!!!!!!! HELPPPPP pleaseeeee help! im in the middle of settling car loans !!!!

    Based on carrier and the country. So check Hotmail will send out a text to these, and it should be fine. Otherwise, just send out a mail to the Hotmail team.

    Have you tried using another number? Your carrier might not support the option.
    If that still don't work, then your only option is to contact Hotmail Support directly to ask them resolving your verification.

    Are you using their paid services?If yes,then this might be the reason.Try contacting them as they provide support for paid customers.

    This situation happens when they didn't get to verify any important details like your mobile number and hence limit your activity of your account.The only way to remove this limitation is to anyhow verify all of your details.
