Does a USB2.0 hub need drivers?
normally USB 2.0 doesn't need driver. But if yours is not working, the first step you need to do is checking your BIOS setting for USB is enabled, after that if it still not working check whether the USB port is recognize in your device manager (type "device manager" at search program windows logo). If it is already recognize but no drivers, then use Hovsep A advice or in the other hand you can download the driver from your laptop vendor website.
if your usb hub is not detected or not well recognized you can get the following message:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Do I need to install drivers for my enhanced (USB 2.0) host controller?
Does Windows Support USB Composite Hubs?
No. USB hubs work transparently with all systems (that support USB, of course!).
can you please explain more ?
and plrase help to guide me where to get drivers.
and please help to guide me where to get drivers.
OK, let me rephrase that. There is no need for drivers. The hub should work as it is, no need for extra software.
btw the hub is generic with no brand
