if you dont know how to scan, you can check on google for the same product and their process of scaning the pictures.
In general, by the brand name, it must be installed in your PC or you may have CD to install or use google to search the drivers for installing. By these methods, you can get the software run, take a scanned photo in your PC.

Check Out The Extension And Size Of Your Image(Facebook Does Not Support Size Greater Than 4 MB).
And Try To Convert It In Another Format (Format Factory Is Your Friend Here)

Upload the scanned image to your computer. Then log into Facebook and go into Photos)...find the add photos button(it should be up the top right-hand corner) and upload the scan you saved.

Hi, on the News Feed page, click the "Share Photos/Videos" link next to "Update Status." It will open up a dialog box to locate your scanned document on your computer. The document will then be uploaded to Facebook via your page. Hope that helps.

You didn't give us a lot of information to work with, but I'm going to try to fill you in anyway.

There's probably a program on your computer for scanning software, and it's probably named after the company that made your printer. If not a CD came with your printer; use that to install the software.

Run that software and you should be able to save the photo from your scanner to your computer. Then you just need to open Facebook and add the picture the same way you would any other picture.

Thanks, you made the most sense for an illiterate old lady. Now I have to find out just how to use/find that scanner thingy. I have HP Officejet all-in-one printer.

Get the scanned image onto your machine. Locate this file from the browse menu in facebook, and then select. Then set this as the image.
