or you can just use audials tunebite, you convert the music files and then transfer them to your iphone or whatever device you're using:

If you have it set to Manually Manage Music (can that be set on an iPhone? I remember a while ago it used to not be an option but I think that changed) then you can just drag and drop music from iTunes onto your iPhone in the sidebar and it will put it on.

Read the manual if you have one, or go to any music channels and pick what suits you best, with your search provider or here!

If your device is not jail-broken , use iTunes.

well ofcourse you can just use itunes, but if you're device is jailbroken, and you we're so stupid to NOT install appsync, so that whenever your device is connected all your illegal apps dissapear, you can use: copytrans control center, just google it, its free (for music only).

The first choice for you is to use iTunes. If you don't like to iTunes by authorizing computer and entering account or have some trouble while using this way, you migh go for another way. I just googled a tool for transferrring music between PC and iPhone.
Maybe you can have a try.
