My Android Cricket was stolen. Is there any way I can track it down?

My phone was stolen and the person is using the phone ...I do have a police report and they are will to help but need promission for tracking...all Cricket gave me is a fax number to give local police.
You can install it remotely via the Android Market and use it to find the GPS co-ordinates of your phone (for most Android phone models). If your model isn't supported, you could try using "Where's My Droid": https://market.android.com/details?id=com.alienmanfc6.wheresmyandroid
Even if you can't get your phone back, you should be able to remotely do a few things to protect the information on it, at least.
Good luck!

Install "Android Lost" on it:
