Which is the best ToDo desktop software?

Is there any best ToDo software? It would also be great if that software had a web-based version.

Even I am looking for a best todo software(Web-based). Not satisfied with RTM! I am using this todo desktop version called DeskListAppy for my mac. Also, syncs great with iphone.

I highly suggest you to use Evernote (//www.makeuseof.com/tags/evernote/). The app is multi-platform with web version available. This is actually a note taking application but very capable to be used as to-do manager.

Google Calendar with Reminders could also be of use to you. You can get your calendar/to do list onto your desktop by downloading Google Desktop and the appropriate widgets as well.

You should try Remember The Milk. It's web-based, but you can bring it to your desktop with Adobe Air or Windows Active Desktop. These two articles will show you how to make the most of it:

By the way, I assume you're using Windows!
