How can I stream music on my Mac? For instance, these sites (www.house-music.fm, www.dominican.fm or www.yourock.fm) all work fine on my Windows machine but with a Mac I can’t seem to figure out how to access them.

Sometimes, the browser may not allow for certain sites to function efficiently. I would recommend first updating your browser to the most recent version and then also consider using a different browser (Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc.)

I would have to say spotify for sure. You can get the mac client and use it for free, I believe.

The best way to stream music on a mac is using Spotify.It had very good UI and is simple to use -

If you try these sites by disabling Adobe flash and VLC plugin,then you'll not be able to play any song and will ask you to install these.

Almost every such website requires flash to stream audio.
try a different browser. since all of them a web based and browser based.
