How can I stop my raid array from breaking?

My Windows 7, 64 bit computer will not hold a raid 0 or 5 for more than about 10 days. I have replaced the mother board, cpu and disk drives. First motherboard was AMD, second Intel.

Which software will cause a raid array to fail?
I am using Microsoft Office 2010 (beta) and Cyberlink PowerDirector 8.

Well I would need more information on this but I will try and lend a little expertise in the matter. First I assume the array is for data and not the OS. You should have a seperate drive for the OS and optimally two setup in raid 1 or a mirror. Then the data drives should be raid 5 with at least one hot spare. Make sure this array is setup in the hardware raid controller and not via windows and in no circumstances under both. Get back to us and let us know your configuration, adapter, what the failure was and specific error messages from the event log and I should be able to help.
