When starting to learn computer programming, which language should I learn first?

I would like to learn computer programming. I would like to know which computer programming language should I start with. Like which language should I start to learn first?

    ..."Finally I´d get Visual Basic"...

    I meant to write "Finally i´d get Visual Studio".

      HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language

    I recommend beginners to learn both OOP theory and coding practice at the same time. I think C++ is a good for beginners. As we know, today's modern programming languages like Java and C# is based on this language.

    I remember the old days, when we were taught Turbo Pascal and it really helped learning more complex languages, because by learning Pascal you get the basic pricniples of programming as a whole.
