Is there any way to make shortcuts like Metro UI tiles in Windows 7?

I want to create Metro UI shortcuts in Windows 7. I want the shortcut to an app to be a tile. Is there any way to do that?

    Google Xxwidget and get it 100% clean and reviewed by Makeuseof.

    Then download the metro style widgets.

    Hello, you could try Instant Beautiful Browsing.  It makes your windows 7 installation look like windows 8.  Keep in mind that this software is in Alpha that means that it can have a few bugs.  This is just a link to possible accomplish what you want, under your own resposibility:

    I think that's a feature coming in Windows 8 - they're carrying the Metro look across all devices - Smartphone, XBox, next Windows...
