How can I set up the Windows Task Manager as a sidebar?

How do I do the following?
1) set windows task manager to auto run
2) set the manager to dock to the left side of my screen when it loads
3) set it to remain always on top yet also auto hide when not in use

    What operating system are you running? If you are using Vista and/or windows 7 you could do this easily by using the sidebar gadget. The sidebar gadget can be dock on any of the four sides of the screen, bottom, top, left and right. If you are using XP, it is a little bit different. Probably you will to get something like this:
