I’m trying to upgrade the software on my Samsung Wave 525 by Kies. After processing the file and completing download it says it can’t recognize my mobile and fails to upgrade. What do I do?

I WAS INSTALLING UPDATE. BUT INTERNET CONNECTION FAILED.
AFTERTHAT IT SHOWS ONLY INSTALLING LOGO. WHICH IS NOT COMPLETE AND ITS SHOWS NO RESPONSE ON TOUCH, RESTART..ETC..
Try holding the power and menu button and connect it to Kies to see any message on device or in Kies software.Might be your phone would get recognized and can get recovered.
Else,you have to take it to service centre.
How to Upgrade/Flash Your Samsung Wave 525 Firmware
You can attempt to recover your phone when in emergency mode
1) Start the Kies Under Tools at the top left go to Firmware Upgrade and Initilization and it will open up a pop up box asking you for the serial number and model number of your phone.
2) Take out the battery and look at serial number of your phone and model number and type it in the S/N and Model Name slots.
3) Put the battery back in and press both the up and down volume and plug your phone to your computer. Your phone will turn on and see that "firmware installation encountered a problem" on your phone again.
4) Now press enter on your computer and Kies will reinstall firmware to your phone.
from where can i get the fota and factory fs files for flashing....plz reply.
i have all other files and downloaded them by samfirmware.com but it doesn't have fota and factory fs files.
can u tell me that from where i can download the fota and factory fs files used for flashing??
Update kies and then post if you encounter the same problem...
Yes using the latest version of Kies is recommended. Then try doing the same and it should work.
i had updated it and i m using latest version of kies... i tries to upgrade the mobile 2 times...but everytime after downloading of component for upgradation it fail.
Firstly,update your Kies to latest version.Then try to update your phone as latest version of Kies might had fixed this issue.
i m using the latest version of kies i.e. kies 2.5
Then update it using 2G or 3G connection or Wi-Fi as Kies is not so reliable software as it's failing to install at right moment.
Samsung, besides it many walk-in service centres, also provide online support in India. Kindly register with them and ask about your problem.
