Why does Runonce.exe pop up when I go online?

Laurl S. September 10, 2010

This Runonce.exe pops up twice when I go on the internet and continues to pop up the whole time I am on my computer. How do I stop this from happening?

I have Windows Vista 64-bit using Firefox. Please help because this is so annoying.

    I second using System Restore. Or if you comfortable with modifying the registry try the instructions above. Make sure to back the registry before making any changes to it (via File -> Export option)

    first you can restore your pc to a previous state wher no popup was there, otherwise Downoload superantispyware and malwarebytes antimalware, then go to safe mode and scan pc first with malwarebytes antimalware, reboot after cleaning then with superantispyware.

    1-run: regedit
    2 - follow the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
    3 - remove the entry that has as given and as the name Firefox Bucks.exe
    4 - Manager => process => Bucks.exe then stop 5 process - enter C: / and then delete the bucks.exe file

    Down load the CCleaner from here(http://www.piriform.com/). After installation run the application , under tools tab --> startup -->Select runonce.exe , and disable it
