Is there a ‘right click’ keyboard shortcut for the Mac spell checker?

Chris August 31, 2010

Is there a keyboard shortcut for right clicking in Mac OS X?

If not, when using the built in spell check, is there a way to drive spelling correction via the keyboard?

Also if not, is there a third party application that can give you a keyboard shortcut that allows you to right click?

If your answer is “press control while clicking the main mouse button”, you’re not paying attention.

If you're not a Mac user than why in F7 would you even respond to this — you don't KNOW!

Chris, I checked and it doesn’t seem like there is. I use Spell Catcher, which comes with all kinds of keyboard shortcuts for checking spelling. It’s not free, but once you learn how to effectively use, it can be a time saver when writing.

F7 doesn't work on Mac? I'm not a mac user, so I wouldn't know - but F7 is Word's key shortcut to check spelling and grammar.
