Add and remove option in the control panel displays a list of all the softwares and also how often you use a software, and the date of last use and size which is an imoprtant factor.

so you don't really need a software to find out which are the unnecessary apps.

You can use ccleaner, to keep your pc clean.

    > Remove unwanted crappy software , toolbars , bloatware  from your pc   - Slim Computers  (  http://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimcomputer.php  . a very good tool .

    >Uninstall any unwanted softwares you know you dont want any longer completely , with Revo Uninstaller (  http://www.revouninstaller.com . the free version is good enough . recommended to run on moderate or safe scans .

    >regularly clean your pc of unwanted files and history and caches and other temporary files with CCleaner (  http://www.piriform.com/
you can also run the inbuilt Windows System Cleaner .

    >defragment your hard drives on a regular basis . you can use the in built windows tool or try some what better tool , like the Auslogics Defragmenter ( http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/

    >try running the Windows on high performance mode rather better visual display .
go to the performance settings , and select ' high performance '
or select ' let windows choose the effects  '

    >install a good anti malware and anti spyware tool to keep the system infection free . Microsoft Security Essentials is good enough . supplement it with MalwareBytes free and Superantispyware free . the latter two for on demand scans . as and when required .

    > and if you want , you can also go for system maintenance apps like the TuneUP Utilities [Broken Link Removed]
or the Advanced System Care . ( http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

both are excellent softwares with plenty of tools to customize the system , increase the system performance , manage the system , maintain the system  and many more .....

    hope the info helps ..

tell if you need more help ...
