How can I record a video chat and burn it to a DVD on a Mac?

Is there a way to record a video chat to my Mac computer’s hard drive and then burn that to a DVD? I plan to interview someone in another country and want to present the interview to a local audience.

If you are using Mac OS X 10.6 you could use QuickTime X to record your screen - but as far as I know it is only able to capture the entire screen, not a single window.

Other options can be found here:

what you are looking for are screencasting tools. I'm sure there is software for the Mac, but since I'm on Windows, I cannot recommend any.

However, there are online tools you could use as a workaround, for example Screen Toaster. It allows you to select an area on your desktop and you can record it. I'm pretty sure it also supports sound.
