How can I print from my Android tablet to a local network printer?

Larry Willey September 13, 2012

Is it possible to print to a local network printer from an Android tablet? The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy with Ice Cream Sandwich. The printer is attached via a wired print server. The network is Windows XP/7 and Linux Mint.

There's no great direct way to do this, but Google Cloud print works well in my experience. Check it out:

If your printer has Wi-Fi then you can connect your tablet and can print via Wi-Fi.
