I’ve deleted some programs from Add and Remove, but it is still showing them on my computer. How do I remove them?
Hello, I would download Revo Uninstaller and do the following:
-- Once revo uninstaller is installed
-- open program
-- in menu, click on Force Uninstall
-- In box that open and under Full Path to program's File and Folder click on Browse
-- Navigate to path of program you want uninstalled
-- click on next
-- click on next after making sure it is showing the uninstaller for program
-- click on next and the uninstall when uninstaller opens
-- click on finish
-- click on scan
-- if revo uninstaller doesn't found any more entries, you are done
-- if it finds any extra entries, click on select alland then delete
-- sometimes after this step, there will be files that need to be cleaned with a restart. If this is the case, mark select all and then delete
-- at this point, you can delete all the programs you want deleted and follow the same procedure as above for each one of them. Once all the files/programs are deleted
-- restart your system
Search for the program by entering the Title in Everything, then delete from there the left over files
Concerning left over registry use regseeker and do a search
can be used to detect changes, track modified files and registry entries during the installation of software programs
can monitor both file and registry changes caused by software installations. This is done by creating snapshots before and after the software installation
Please see our Best Of - Uninstallers list. My personal favourite is IObit's uninstaller.
which are the programs ? may be they are present somewhere else, where add and remove does not scan.
Use revo uninstaller to remove something effectively.
To do it manually, search all the files related to the programs and delete them. remove registry entries,
clean up with clcleaner.
