How can I overclock an ATI video card with Overdrive?

However, when I downloaded the given link I got some different of ATI Control Center and I am unable to use ATI Overdrive. I have the version – 2011.0126.1749.31909

    If done incorrectly, overclocking WILL DESTROY YOUR CARD! Overclocking also voids the warranty on most graphics cards.Overclocking is the practice of changing a computer components clock rate (clock cycles per second) to increase performance of that part. Overclocking will increase the heat generated by the component, and generally reduces the lifespan significantly.

    i have 1 gb memory Graphics Chipset ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5400 Series and the catalyst control center looks like the one attached in the pic.

      Ah, you have a laptop.

      That's likely why you do not see the option to overclock. Most laptops, particularly ones not built for gaming, do not allow for GPU overclocking (or CPU, for that matter).

      I hate to say it, but you're probably out of luck.
