How can I use keyboard shortcuts for Google Reader and GMail on my iPad 2?

Mark O'Neill September 26, 2011

I was wondering if it was possible to use Google Reader keyboard shortcuts and GMail keyboard shortcuts on my iPad 2?

If so, how do you get the keyboard to appear, if there is no text field? Is there a secret method to getting the keyboard to pop up?

Or are keyboard shortcuts for web apps like GMail disabled on the iPad?

I think the question is : how to use the keyboard  shorttcuts whenhe  keyboard is absent,
and the keyboard appears only when you have to write in a text field, so that also can not allow to use keyboard shortcuts.
And not: what are the keyboard shortcuts.

I think you should try a wireless keyboard.

Hello, with regards to the first and last question, have you tried clicking on the "?" sign?  When pressing this key, it usually shows you any shortcut available for any google services.  If you try, it may show you what if any shortcuts are available.  It is worth a shot.
