Is there an iOS app that would allow me to annotate photos?

Is there an iOS app that will allow me to add detailed comments or notes to a photo? I don’t need to see the comment on the photo, but it would be nice to see the comment off to the side of the photo when viewing? Is there anything like that?

Yes! I'm pretty sure you can add a field to the EXIF data using an app that supports editing EXIF information. In case you're not familiar with EXIF, you can read all about it here: //

The following apps allow you to change the EXIF data, and you can add information like author, copyright and possibly even the ambiguous "notes" category too. I found them by searching "edit exif ios" in case you want to look for more: (free trial)

Good luck, let us know if this works!

Thanks all. I was hoping there was an app that would allow me to add notes/descriptions to the comment field like I can do on my PC by clicking "Properties." I don't want to write on the photo itself. It looks like I'll have to do it on my PC after I download my photos. I was hoping to do it right away so I didn't have to take notes and do it later.

I think Skitch is pretty much the go-to tool for that.

Skitch and iAnnotate apps would be useful to you.
