When I try and invite my daughter to join Life360 it says number is not valid, but it is. I have tried different combinations, but the reply is ‘please enter a valid number.’
Are in the US? The system only accepts US telephone numbers at this time; you can invite her via email instead.

Try clearing the app's data by going to Settings --> Life360 -->clear cache and clear data.This will delete all the data that you saved and this app will act like when you got it for first time.
