Why can’t I install OS X on my computer?

Waqas Sandhu September 19, 2012

When I run Mac OS X installation it restarts in safe mode and give no response with iBoot CD and shows dark screen and then restarts.

My computer is:

Intel Core 2 Duo

Gigabyte GA-965-GM-S2 Intel Express Chipset

Wait: is your computer a Mac? If not you should check out this great article from my buddy James Bruce:

You can't install Mac OS X on an intel computer..
Try the hakintosh project to do that, as Rajaa suggested!

Checkout the Hackintosh project and the iAtKOS project. Google them. Also check the hardware compatibility list mentioned there. Maybe a hardware incompatibility issue. you can check my video of my own hacktintosh installed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX-uGZve-1k

This sounds like it happened some sort of error during the installation... Have you tried reinstalling Mac OS X and selecting the proper drivers during installation (as far I remember, there should be a button for that)...
