Why can’t I install my netbook’s wireless driver?

HARSHIL AGNIHOTRI October 12, 2012

I bought an Acer D225E netbook about a year and half ago. I was getting angry at how slow WIndows 7 starter was so I tried to install Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. I did, and I downloaded all the drivers from Acer.ca/Acer.com, but I can’t get the Wireless Atheros driver to work. It says my device may not be present or is ejected/unplugged from my system.

How can I get around this and install the driver?

maybe it has been disabled. fire up the bios setup, and look for it in 'attached peripherals'

Go to Device manager see if it is there if yes then uninstall and install this driver from here -

    Then follow guide.

Sounds like you have the wrong driver.
    go here..

Scroll to the very bottom.. where the wireless drivers are..there are quite a few...and 2 Atheros drivers..the VERY BOTTOM ONE version 9.1.209 is for windows 7.
