How do i import my saved passwords from Chrome to Firefox? Is this even possible?
I also recommend last pass
i think u cannot import passwords, i tried to do that but only bookmarks,
I was thinking of using a cross-platform service called LastPass. It allows to to have your passwords anywhere.
I use an external password manager called "lastpass".
Just install the plugin, the app or whatever you need and you have all passwords available in every environment.
If you want to have a look: http://www.lastpass.com
save them to a CSV file and import them to firefox.
Tools -> options -> Security -> import/export passwords
You have an "import/export passwords" facility in your version of Firefox?
I think not!
Newminster is right. There is no “import/export passwords” option in Firefox 17
Your answer is BS
I believe LastPass can do this.
It is not possible to import PASSWORDS .
you can use a service like xmarks or lastpass to sync your passwords between multiple computers/browsers, this will copy all your chrome passwords to firefox.
It's how I do it anyway.
as a sidenote, I'd turn off chrome sync first, it messes things up in chrome.
