Firstly, why would you import form Gmail to Yahoo? It's usually the other way around.

    Secondly, to answer your question.

Log in to your Gmail account, go to Settings, click on "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" and Forward you mail to your Yahoo account. This is the easiest option.

Alternatively on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" page you can enable POP Download.

Once you've done this, open the "Configuration instructions" in a new tab/window.

Login to Yahoo Mail, go to Options on the top right hand side and choose Mail Options.

On the left Menu choose Accounts and click on "Add or Edit an account"

Click on Add on the next page that appears just follow the on screen instructions and fill in the required POP/SMTP info from the "Configuration instructions" tab/window you opened earlier.

If you need any further help, leave a reply here.

You need to enable pop3 on your Gmail account via the settings tab. There are directions on Gmail's site here:

After you have done that, you can have Yahoo! import email from pop3 account, just like any other pop3 account. The directions for doing this are here:

The pop3 settings for Gmail are:
    Use SSL: Yes
    Port: 995

For user, use your full account, and for password your Gmail password.

In gmail go under "settings" Than "Forwarding/pop/imap" In the forwarding section set it ti send a copy of your mail from Gmail to your yahoo address.

This will work but only for future messages. To import past messages, you will need to use the method I laid out in my response.
