How do I import my contacts from Hotmail into Outlook?

Anonymous April 21, 2014

My computer person set up my Windows 8 so that email sent to my Hotmail account would be forwarded to my Outlook application. None of my contacts, calendar, etc. from Hotmail are accessible by my Outlook. How can I do this?

I try to sign into Google with the Hotmail website and I am just brought to an outlook application that is the original outlook before it imports my Hotmail. I can only access my actual Hotmail emails through the “mail” icon. I still can’t access my Hotmail calendar, contacts. etc. Help!

    1. On the Start screen , tap or click People.
2.Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)
    3. Tap or click Accounts, tap or click Add an account, tap or click the type of account you'd like to add, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
