Will uninstalling Intel Control Center adversely affect my computer?

Anonymous October 30, 2013

I accidentally uninstalled Intel Control Center.  Will it affect my computer?  How can I reinstall it?  I’m worried I’ve messed up my computer.

Intel Desktop control center available here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?keyword=%22%22desktop+control+center%22%22
It's not necessary unless you plan to try overclocking or like to monitor your CPU and motherboard.

I called tech support for HP and they had me recover the system at an earlier date, so all is fine now. What isn't fine, is I bought a push2TV devise, expecting to be able to stream wirelessly but it requires Intel WiDi, which my computer does not have. It's a i5, so I thought they'd be no problem. DEFINITELY a problem. This computer, although it's less than a year old and an i5 will not support Intel WiDi. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

Unfortunately, there isn't really a solution to this. The PC either supports WiDi or doesn't, and many still don't.

I have accidentally uninstallled 'Intel Control Center' from my computer. Do I need it
Intel Desktop Control Center is designed to help you improve system stability, optimize performance, and control cooling and acoustic characteristics. Available only on performance and enthusiast IntelĀ® Desktop Boards, this dynamic application allows you to do more with your desktop board than ever before.

I inadvertently uninstalled " Intel Control Center". How can I reinstall it? Does it make any difference? KN
apparently will not hurt the system but it is better to have it on windows.

either use system restore point or download from here
