want to protect your privacy or important data from others?
in fact, hide the partition is more effective. :), no one else can see it, then no one ask you for the pass word or something like that,
you can hide partition with minitool partition wizard, free. :).

Bitlocker is the best and safe choice for hard disk password (it takes much time to store large data with password or you can use true crypt for encrypting the harddisk data and provide password to it.
