Hello, I’m having a little bit of a problem figuring out how to get my computer to remember all the security keys to the networks I frequently connect to.
Every time I connect to them, it asks me for the password. How do I get Windows to get the security keys of the networks I frequently connect to automatically stored so that I don’t have to enter them all the time?
The solution is as follows:
" Run msconfig (start > run (or just type into the "Search programs and files" field above the windows orb) > msconfig)
this brings up the System Configuration dialog box
click the Startup tab
scroll to find your wifi adapter's startup program (in my case it was NETGEAR)
uncheck the box next to this startup item
restart your computer. problem solved. "

1) Open msconfig
2) click the Startup tab
3) Find your wifi adapter's startup program
4) uncheck the box next to this startup program
5) Reboot
see if this will help
What do you mean when you refer to “Wi-Fi adapter’s startup program”? I had no idea my Wi-Fi adapter had a startup program in the first place.
try to uninstall your network related drivers, reboot windows will install the driver so setup the wifi and see if problems solved,
