How do I make an installer for my Windows program?

I would like to know how I can make a good installer program.

I have my program, and I want to make an installer which will install the program and put some files in several folder so that the program can work perfectly.

How can I achieve this?

    IExpress is a Microsoft utility bundled with various editions of Windows operating systems.Makeuseof has mentioned about it years ago.

    So,it can be used without downloading it.You can have some detailed look at this Wikipedia article.

    Also,Inno Setup is also popular.Although,it doesn't have much of GUI facilities,it for those who want to have full control over their package.

    You didn't indicate which programming language and Operating System. For Windows try Advanced installer.
