How do I keep Adobe Pro X primary and keep Adobe Reader from being used?

When people send me PDF attachments, they are opened with Adobe Reader when I want to work with the tools of Adobe Acrobat Pro X.  I want Acrobat Pro X to be the assigned program for all PDF’s sent to me.

    If you want to view all PDFs in Acrobat, simply uninstall the reader!

    1) Right click on the file
    2) Click on Open with then Click on Choose Default Program
    3) Under Other Programs, Select the program that you want to open the file with
    4) Check the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file box
